CALL 2nd MOUNTFOR PhD Day “COP 21 and Mountain Land Use in a changing climate” Wednesday 23, November 2016 CREA | Aula Biblioteca, via della Navicella, 2 ROMA Dear PhD students, the Second MOUNTFOR PhD Day will be held on Wednesday 23 November 2016, at the Council for Agricultural Research and Economics, in Rome. The PhD Day will include exciting talks from excellent speakers, poster/oral presentations. The theme of the day will be: “COP 21 and Mountain Land Use in a changing climate”. EFI-Project Centre MOUNTFOR welcomes oral presentations and posters enhancing the improvement of knowledge and exchange of scientific research and best practices on adaptation and resilience of forests and natural environments in mountain areas, to support the transfer of low carbon and adaptive technologies, taking into account traditional knowledge and practices in mountain areas, as well as to adopt a long-term vision and holistic approach. As the PhD Day is the annual meeting point for all PhD students, everyone is expected to participate: • 1st year PhD students and research-year students are invited to submit an abstract and present a poster. • 2nd year PhD students are requested to submit an abstract and present a poster. • 3rd year PhD students are requested to submit an abstract. Students abstract proposals will be selected by the EFI-MOUNTFOR Scientific Committee for either oral presentation or short oral poster session. Abstracts for oral presentation that will be not accepted, can be presented as a poster. The Organizing Committee is looking forward to seeing you all!
